Founder & CEO
Born and raised in New York, Alec has always had a passion for producing and entrepreneurship. He is well known for producing the international feature horror film "The Cabin"(2018), which picked up domestic distribution and international sales. He produced his first short film, Too Far From Home, which premiered at the 2013 Oceanside Film Festival. Graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelors degree in Communication Studies, Alec has been exposed to a variety of areas in the industry including acquisitions, distribution, and exhibition. Alec has worked at Samuel Goldwyn Films, IAM Sports & Entertainment, Uncut Casting, Management 360.
VP of Legal & Business Affairs
Margaux V. Roussel received her Juris Doctorate (Honors) from The George Washington University Law School, and Bachelor of Arts from UC Berkeley. Ms. Roussel is a French native (dual national) who has worked, inter alia, for the World Bank Group (Governance Global Practice; Doing Business), U.S. State Department Office of the Assistant Legal Adviser for Private International Law (L/PIL), and United Nations’ International Law Commission (ILC). She is a business owner, Squire Patton Boggs Foundation Public Policy Fellow, and credited contributor to several publications on a wide range of legal topics. Margaux currently handles all legal and business partnership matters at Coast ART Productions.
Johan started directing films at the age of 12 with his family's VHS camera in his hometown of Kilafors, Sweden. He moved away from home at the age of 15 to study film at Sweden's only film high school. After graduation he continued to study filmmak- ing in Santa Barbara, California and has freelanced in both Sweden and Australia, directing a variety of music videos and short films. His previous films have been screened at both Swedish and international festivals. A Night in the Cabin is Johan's feature film directorial debut. He currently serves as a creative director for Coast ART Productions.
VP of Motion Picture Finance
Josh Baker supports the accounting and finance operations at Coast ART Productions. Prior to joining the company Josh maintained a position as an Audit Associate at Hutchinson & Bloodgood LLP, a leading firm of certified public accountant and consultants. Josh has conducted annual audits for various industries. Prior to H&B LLP, Josh was an accountant at Stepstone Group LP, a global private equity firm, where he handled daily accounting entries and financial statement preparation. Josh holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with an option in Accountancy from California State University, San Marcos. He is a member of the National Alpha Lambda Delta High Honor Society.
